Today was a sunny afternoon in Montreal.

The weather was warm, the breeze was light — a perfect day for fishing.

The water was calm, and I spent the afternoon quietly casting by the river. Everything just felt right.

After a few casts, I felt a sudden pull — that moment every angler knows.

When I reeled it in, a beautiful Walleye flashed gold in the sunlight.

Later, I caught another one.

They weren’t the biggest fish,

but every catch has its own meaning.

Fishing isn’t just about the result — it’s about patience, focus, and that quiet joy that comes with it.

That was my day: water, wind, fish, and a smile.

13 and Born to Fish.
